Another simple but functional design. I needed to make something that would hold my speakers, easy to remove for maintenance and can be reshaped if I decide to change to another type of speaker i the future. Because no one will ever see the inside when everything is assemble it doesn’t really matter what they looklike, though they are very artoo-like. This is just the one of many quick fixes to keep the building on schedule….and it actually works 
I also found some time to make some ankle cylinders from pvc tubes. I was pretty straight forward. I cut 4 tubes to the same lenght placing one over the other I then cut the outer tube to the proper measurements. The ends are made of polystyrene. It worked out pretty good I think 
as I mentioned, it my look a little crude but I do plan to mount it properly with a kind of arm to hold everything more stable.
I also spent a little time these past few weeks designing and testing different types of motor mounting ideas for spinning my dome. This one was the winner…. its a litte crude perhaps but it actually works
